Prof. Masia shares his extensive professional experience as a teacher in different national and international educational centers. Since 2005 he has been active as an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. As a director and promoter of the International Master of Reconstructive Microsurgery he has performing educational courses in more than 20 different countries. He is know for the most recent microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction and surgical treatment of lymphedema in Spain since 2000. This made the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and the Hospital del Mar to the Spanish Reference Center for the treatment of lymphedema and the most advanced breast reconstruction techniques.

Jaume Masia is a Doctor by the Autonomous University of Barcelone since 2008. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery by the Barcelone University and he was specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona.
